These beautuful, fair trade little Buddha leaf note books from Transomnia are made entirely from handmade 'Saa' paper. The information below is included with each notebook.
The beautiful handmade paper used in this product is derived from the bark of the mulberry tree (Broussnetia Papyrifara) and is produced without cutting down the tree, making it a completely renewable natural resource. Only small areas of bark are taken from each tree, allowing them to survive and rapidly regenerate.
The production of 'Saa' paper, as it is known, is a traditional craft dating back more than 600 years to the hills of Northern Thailand and Burma.
This product, designed by and made exclusively for Transomnia in Northern Thailand, is not only useful and beautiful, but in an age of mass-produced uniformity is a tangible link to one of the world's great craft traditions.
The information above is included on a little peice of Saa paper inside every notebook.The notebooks measure 12cm x 9cm and each have about 20 pages. They have either a lilac, green or pink leaf on the front, obviously, every one is very slightly different.
We always obtain proof of posting and pack items carefully and cannot be held responsible for items that are damaged, delayed or lost in the post but will help with Royal Mail lost item claim forms if necessary. To insure against such eventualities please select the appropriate postage option from the drop down menu on the invoice.
Standard first class. Delivery should be within 2 working days.
Standard second class. Delivery should be within 3-4 working days but often less.
Compensation of up to 32 can be claimed from Royal Mail if items are lost or damaged if either first or second class standard rates are used.
Special Delivery is the only fully insured option for all items including jewellery. It guarantees next day delivery, and includes tracking.
A signature will be required on delivery of recorded or special delivery items.
We will accept returns within 14 days if not fully satisfied. Please notifiy us within 48 receiving goods if they are to be returned. Goods MUST be in original condition, well packed and fit or resale in original boxes where applicable. P&P costs will only be refunded if the incorrect item was sent or there was an error on our part.
