The block is in good shape for its use (profession)
Doesn t really have a lot of knife marks on the top, has small crack in the corner, nothing major, still works fine for any purpose, that s how it came when our family got it 70 years ago. It gives the block character. We used it to serve on and to roll doe. But great for actual use too like deer or hog preparing. Would also be good for pizza restaurant to roll dough.
