Vintage archer emi/rfi ac/dc line filter (120/240 volt)
This is a vintage classic Archer (from Radio Shack) EMI/RFI line filter. I have two of these and they are Brand New!
For up to 120/240 volts AC or DC at 5 amps.
The Archer EMI/RFI line filter attenuates radio frequency interference, conducted into or out of electronic equipment. There are two different modes of RFI. Common mode interference is present as a voltage from all of the power connections to ground. Differential mode interference is persent as a voltage between the power connections. The Archer line filter is effective against both types of interference. This interference can be generated by transmitters, computers,and peripherals, switching power supplies, heavy appliances, microwaves, etc.
