* Trying to sew multiple layers of leather, canvas or vinyl with a household machines equipped with plastic parts and body will result in a number of problems and the quick breakdown of the machine - the internal gears and attached motor are not nearly powerful enough for years of heavy sewing projects
* In order to work on bigger projects such as upholstery, clothing manufacturing and general multi-layer repairs/creations using thick materials, you will require a Heavy-Duty Industrial Sewing Machine, with a 1725 or 3450 RPM industrial sewing machine motor.
