This is an amazing combination package for total sound analysis.
Measures singing, ordinary sounds, insane car stereo's, home entertainment systems, industrial noise, stereo speakers, jet airplanes, rock concerts, gunfire, fireworks, small explosives. Can measure basically anything except superquiet sounds like whispers below 50 decibels.
all you need is a computer or laptop.
Simple, easy and quick to use, just plug into the sound card of your computer. It has an input reading range from 0.00001 volts to 5.000 volts if you just want to plug in an outside source like an ipod music player to see music or some other voltage input source or even a digital source. It also has memory, sound decibel level, peak, hold, frequency generator and output amplitude functions. It also has in internal and external voltage calibrator. The oscilloscope reads from 0.001 volts per division to 5 volts per division and 0.05 millseconds to 200 milliseconds per division. It has an automatic calibration function to properly balance your computer sound card
for absolute flat frequency response. Or for absolute flat N.I.S.T. laboratory work use or get sound blaster or
creative labs computer sound cards(about $23 to $45 dollars).
You can also use the microphone only for only sound level decibels with an ordinary multimeter digital kind that reads MILLIvolts.
