This is a vintage technical engraving titled "Duplex Milling machine. Constructed by Messrs. Shepherd, Hill, & Co. , Limited, Engineers, Leeds." It is in excellent condition and was published in a British engineering journal and is dated October 7, 1898. The accompanying article describes this large metal working milling machine with a cross bed over 30ft. long and 4 ft. wide, capable of milling both sides of a sheet of metal at one pass.
