Honeycomb Hexagonal Czech Bee Keepers Assoc Apiary Pin Bee keeping is very popular here in Czech and alot of Czech goods seem to find there way to the International bee markets. My family in England keep bees and they have many items purchased in the UK that were manufactured here in The Czech Republic.
The bee trade union here is the CSV which stands for Ceskoslovenske Svaz Vcelaru, or in English, Czechoslovakian Union of Beekeepers
The pin has been thoughtfully produced as a hexagon shape, it is from the 1960s and has a lovely detailed bee on a white enamel background that really shines in light.
The badge has a stick pin fastener and is in excellent condition a little over 1cm wide it would have been worn at formal occasions where beekeepers would meet up.
