Performance Tormach Machine Controller (PN31520)
This controller is recommended for performance applications such as large files, high block rates, or use of CAD or CAM on the controller. A block is the same as a line of code and it usually represents a single motion segment. If your file sizes exceed 200,000 lines or if block rates exceed 2000 blocks per minute then this is the controller you want. Three dimensional mold making programs can easily exceed 200,000 lines and detailed engraving files can approach or exceed 2000 blocks per minute. Newer versions of software often require more computational horsepower. The added capability of the Performance Controller means less risk of obsolescence as new versions of the control software are released.

Tormach can provide a custom configured version of the Machine Controller for dedicated applications. The controller can also be private labeled for original equipment manufacturers. Contact Tormach for details.
Mach3 license is supplied on a separate CD and not pre-installed. License is installed automatically when the CD is inserted. Keep your license CD in a safe location.
TMC does not include an LCD screen or keyboard. Check the Tormach website for part numbers of combination kits which can include LCD screens, touch screens, keyboards, and various extension cables.
