mid 70's unit. good working order
has 24 rpms and 5 feeds, it also has a clutch which makes it great for power tapping,
unit works fine and as any older piece of equipment it has minor flaws.
all electrical, motor, gearing, feeds, and clamping all work great.
coolant system works fine also
the only thing we feel is wrong when the auto clamps lock down the head and if you have a 12" lg drill in it the end of the drill shifts like 1/32
just as the clamps go into final lock.
but radial arm drills are top heavy anyway,
only reason we are getting rid of it is space and we dont use it as much.
also the reason you see a strap on it is just for moving it around, the strap just keeps the head in a positive position for moving.
