Designed for soft metals, these hardened tool steel disc cutters are rated for material up to 18 gauge (1mm). Can be used with a hammer or a hydraulic press; achieving a direct overhead hit is important to ensure the performance and long life of these high quality tools. Included is a wooden storage box with individual slots for each punch. This disc cutter has countless jewelry making applications including making discs, washers, seamless rings, domes, charms, lentil and round beads, and many others. A great investment for a bargain price.
