The 8322 RF Coaxial Attenuator delivers a signal 30 dB or 40 dB below the main signal level. Electrically equivalent to symmectrical T-pads, this attenuator is unidirectional, i.e. each resistance element in the T configuration is selected to dissipate only its share of the total input power. This permits a compact, economical design for extending the range of low-power wattmeters by a factor of 1000 and RFI measurements with negligible intermodulation and harmonic generation.
