When you add up all the needed bits and pieces of this superb but older ATE
(automatic test equipment) system, the original cost was well over $6600.00.
Before any of the included premium grade custom test input cabling.
This is an absolutely loaded and chock full HP Agilent 3488A HP-IB (GPIB)
switch and control unit. It can be used to matrix switch and computer acquire
test instrument measurements in most any combination.
Included are five 44470A ten channel input relay multiplexer modules, one for each available
mainframe slot. Each of the five multiplexers has its own 44480A screw terminal connector
included. These are the original US units, not the latter day China knockoffs.
Further, each and every connection of the 44480A's has been brought out to six meter
long individual premium teflon coated mil spec shielded cables. These terminate in banana plugs
as might be used for a DVM interface.
Also included are four genuine original GPIB cables of various lengths, rack mounting ears,
and a line cord. 2U standard rack height and depth.
Unit powers up and reports its ok self-test. We have not tested the unit further, but believe it to be
fully functional and guarantee it to be servicible. May include very minor cosmetics. Fifteen day
