Up for sale is a New, 60Kg. Coffee Roaster made by Balestra Mfg, in Napoli, Italy
The Coffee Roaster K60, is built to last, it has a solid rotating roasting drum with double mixing baffles to allow for a better roasting uniformity. .
Roasting takes place thanks to hot air, with indirect heating, given by a non-conductivity firebox lined with refractory bricks,
The rear of the drum is perforated to allow hot air flow trough the coffee beans.
There is an airflow control baffle situated in the chrome pipe above the roaster, before the aspirating air blower.
A clean-out access door is next to the baffle
The Roaster blower as well as the Cooler blower have a hinge system that allows for the motor to swing open by unscrewing two large wing nuts,
Regular maintenance/cleaning is a simple, fast task.
The gas systems has 3 independent and adjustable flame levels: Pilot, Low flame and High flame.
Temperature is digitally displayed and controlled, high flame/low flame settings are easily changed right from the keypad.
Controls are mounted on a swing arm that can be positioned as needed for ease of use.
Cooler is capable of cooling beans within 3/5 min., depending on ambient temp.
It has two discharge doors, one pneumatic, one manually activated, there are two large clean out doors sitting opposite of each other.
The Chaff collector is included, custom built with refractory bricks on the lower section.
This allows you to burn the chaff as it is produced, or it can be used as a traditional one and the lower door can be used for chaff removal.
Steel tubing up to the chaff collector and up to the cooler blower is included.
Maximum production is 660 lb./hr.
Gas consumption is 90,000 Kcal/hr
Roaster, cooler, blower motors and tubing weight is approx. 5000 Lb.
