This Rebel LED from Philips (part number LXML-PWN1-0080) gives impressive light output and ultra energy efficient operation. With an operating lifetime of greater than 50,000 hours this range of LEDs have been setting industry benchmarks for performance and reliability.
This Rebel will give approximately 80 Lumens @ 350mA and 145 Lumens @ 700mA for a forward voltage drop of 3.4V. To put this is in perspective a 60 watt light bulb will give around 800 lumens so 5.5 LEDs will give equivalent light output for 13.75 watts @ 700mA.
This mounted LED is supplied with an aluminium heat sink measuring 100 x 35 x 2mm. For attaching the LED MCPCB (Metal Clad Printed Circuit Board) to the heatsink we recommend Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive Compound which is available from our shop. We will attach the board to the heatsink if requested.
