This is the LM741 Op Amp SMT IC Design Kit. It includes 4 pieces of the very popular National Semiconductor LM741 Single Op Amp in the Surface Mount SOIC-8 package. The LM741 is perhaps the world's most popular Op Amp and has been used for decades!! This is the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) version of it.
The kit includes SMT NPN & PNP Signal & Power Transistors which can be used as high-side or low-side drivers. There are also different values of SMT Resistors (1%, 5% & POWER), SMT Aluminum & Ceramic & Tantalum Capacitors, SMT Inductors, SMT Signal & Zener Diodes, SMT Trimpots, SMT Red & Green & Yellow & Blue & White LEDs, an Electret Microphone, a Battery Clip Pushbutton Switches, and a Speaker. You also get some Electronic Hardware to interface your designs to the outside world.
With these parts, you can make numerous circuits, such as active filters, pre-amps, signal conditioners, function generators and much more. Surface Mount Technology (SMT) parts do not have long leads; this is a chance to get some SMT parts and learn to use them.
