This machine is excellent for using with site diesel driven dc welders to give a mig option.

The Portafeed VS 212 IS A PURPOSE BUILT, PORTABLE, POWERFUL cc/cv solid state controlled voltage sensing wire feeder. Its rugged injection molded fiberglass reinforced flame retardant, polypropylene case represents the latest in high strength, super tough, light weight materials.
A recessed control panel protects the controls which include a power switch, inch purge switch, gun trigger hold and digital display for monitoring wire speed, amps, volts, arc time and meter hold functions. A lifting eye, Mig gun holder, removable voltage sensing lead and ressesed carrying handle are just some of the refined external features of the portafeed vs212.
But the features that truly set this machine apart are the aluminium cast machined feed head tension arm combined with quick change drive rolls (geared top and bottom) and the unique changeable integrated Mig gun cartridge system. This system allows the operator to connect any style of mig gun to the wire feeder without the use of external adapters which can break off or restrict wire feeding.Finaly all printed circuit boards are potted and sealed to be enviromentally toughened from metalic dust, dirt and moisture costly down time will be a thing of the past when the portafeed is on site.
