Axminster AW16BMST Bench Morticer
This bench top morticer has the huge benefit of both lateral (side to side, Y axis) and longitudinal (front to back, X axis). The workpiece is manoeuvred using a longitudinal hand wheel and lateral lever. There's no more jigging and shimming to get the mortice positioning spot on. The table and motor head run on dovetail slides and are provided with adjustable jib strips ensuring years of accurate use. A gas strut provides counterbalances the weight of the head and motor. Stops are provided for both vertical and horizontal movements for repeat work. Supplied with 3/8" chisel and bit. Please note: takes 3/4" shank chisels only.
