Pneumatic air advance automation cylinder 4" stroke b&j


This is for one new Advance pneumatic air cylinder. This has not been used or installed although the label has fading and may have some minor unaffected scuffs from storage. The label is marked with the following numbers 240 416SS. This has a 4" stroke. The body length is 7-13/16" long by 2-3/8" wide. Total overall length with the rod end is 10" long in the closed position, and 14" long with the rod in fully extended out position. The rod end is threaded with fine thread 1/2" nut threads of about one inch long. The end of the face of the body has additional numbers of 12 83 that are stamped into it. Has ports on both ends of the sides of the cylinder. The back side has two double monting holes with 5/16-24" thread size, and the end of the body of the cylinder has four 5/16-24" threaded mounting holes. Block-Vee type, Buna N material is furnished as standard.
A low friction, dimensionally stable nylon wear band constitutes an excellent bearing surface.
Block-Vee type is self-adjusting to ensure proper seal.
Lip type urethane seal cleans piston rod and prevents foreign particles from entering cylinder.
