This is a Brand New Never Been Issued Firefighter / Military Antiflash Flame Resistant Hood, made of 80% PFR Rayon, 20% PBI (Polybenzimidazole). Similar to a Ski Mask, the "ANTI-FLASH" Hood protects the Firefighter's Neck, Head and Face where your Skin is exposed around your SCBA Mask to Extreme Heat and Flames with a single layer of Fire-Resistant Nomex type material. The Hood can also be used as a Crude Air Filter in Smoky Environments. These would also work Great for Racing, Motocross, Motorcross or anywhere else you need to protect your Face, Head and Neck from extreme Heat or Flames. Would also work great for Hunting or Paintball! This Hood is Genuine US Military Issued Surplus.
These Anti Flash hoods are UL certified and are compliant to meet the NFPA 1971-2007 standar of performance (Protective Ensembles for Structural fire Fighting and Proximity Fire Fighting, 2007 Edition). Hoods also comply with the Cal/OSHA standards.
