These are used for high-current power-plane decoupling for computer motherboards, or other applications requiring large capacitance, with high current at high frequencies. A combination of small diameter and long case length gives this capacitor a rating of almost 2 Amperes for a small 8mm diameter PCB footprint!
These have an extremely low ESR and high operating current!! At 100 KHz ratings are 0.019 Ohms Max ESR and 1.9 Amperes Max operating current. Some applications can have leads and circuit traces with more impedance than that!
