If you are a woodworker who does a lot of veneering or small gluing jobs, you will quickly fall in love with this, Set Of 8, Professional Spring Loaded 5" Clamps. Although the photo only shows 4, you will receive a set of 8. Made just like the larger Vise-Grip models, these measure only 5" tall, with the jaws open to a maxium of 1.25", with a throat of 1.5". Simply set the desired tension and width with the screw knob prior to gluing, apply the glue to the veneer, place on the caul, and apply these clamps. Of course these do have many other uses around the shop, and with a little thought and your own ideas, you will realize that they will be quite a handy tool.
