New 16' tandem flatbed utility trailer, car hauler

We specialize in custom-built open-deck tandem-axle trailers! You can get any size/style/options you want. The trailer listed here is the flatbed model, which is a BRAND NEW 16 foot tandem axle flatbed trailer, which can be used as a car hauler! UPDATE: This trailer now is priced with new 6-ply tires on new whitespoke wagon wheels. Standard features on these flatbeds include:
* extremely strong 5" channel frame (the same as most 10,000 pound rated trailers from other places)
* new 6-ply tires on whitespoke wheels
* a heavy duty 2" coupler that is rated at more than the trailer itself at 8,000 pounds. (You're likely to find 5,000 pound couplers elsewhere)
* set-back jack (gives you room to open a your truck tailgate or SUV hatch)
* dual 3,500 pound axles (7000# GVW)
* 4" channel wrap-around tongue, fully welded to the 5" channel frame all the way back to the fenders
* painted 2" untreated pine bed
* ramp channel/lip in the rear
The biggest question I get on this trailer is "why does it cost a little more than the landscape style with rails? Isn't it the same trailer, but without rails? Why isn't it cheaper?" The answer is that it is NOT the same trailer, it is much stronger and heavier. Once you take the rails away, you have to beef up the frame to retain strength, but this trailer goes beyond that. This one weighs probably 150 pounds more due to the additional steel of the 5" channel frame, even without the rails. The other style has a 3" angle frame, and has to get some strength from the rails. This one also has the stronger coupler and the tongue is 4" channel instead of 4" angle.
The dimensions are subject to change very slightly, but the inside width of the cargo area is right at 6'4" (76 inches). The total width, from outside of fender to outside of other fender, is 7'10" (94 inches). The cargo area is a full 16'2". 16' is not the length of the entire trailer. If you count the length of the tongue, it's another 40", making the full length 19'6" (234 inches). The weight is about 1,600 pounds.
