has donated 4 of her drawings in pencil and pastel to help the Native American Youth of Equine Sciences
The featured drawing shows an appaloosa stallion with a blanket across his rear. Size is 11 x 14. Medium is pencil. This is my personal favorite of DeShawna drawings. The eyes are real. They seem to draw you into the rest of the drawing. Every detail is perfect. If this one does not sell it will be gracing the walls of our someday new office. The details are rich and do not show up in the photo as well as they do on the drawing. 100% of this drawing will go to the upkeep of our website at Native American Academy

DeShawna definitely has a gifted eye for horses and accurately portrays then in her drawings. We have listed her website so that you can see the quality of work that she does and get an idea of what her drawings cost. We are starting each of her donated drawings at less than half the cost of purchasing directly from the artist. The Native American Academy of Equine Sciences is dedicated to the education of Native American youth in regards to equine knowledge in medical, husbandry and training. At this time ALL of our staff are voluntary and the expenses are in the running of the office, building fund for the development of the onsite classrooms and academic materials and equine maintenance.
