The MDS-5 High Energy Degausser is an inexpensive, powerful bulk eraser that incorporates cooling fans to enhance productivity. This lightweight, low cost, table top model provides 100% erasure on DLT, SDLT 1, and LTO 1 tape cartridges, as well as Beta SP, many forms of digital video tape, and DAT tape cartridges.
It is designed to handle all metal particle tape and hard-to-erase media. It is suitable for data processing centers, data security installations, and media users who must erase a wide variety of different kinds of media.
This remanufactured unit comes with a one year "new machine" warranty.
The MDS-5 is also available for rent for only $250.00 per week or $400.00 per month.
A companion carrying case is available for this unit, which makes this heavy desk-top machine easily transportable.
