I purchased this unit, hooked it up ran it for a few days and then I bought a Hobart mega-mig 650 rvs which is twice as powerful. So I do not need this one. In the type welding I do on construction equipment, I will not have to work the unit as hard. Since I have to use 300 amps this unit would be working at max all the time. The new one will work on low range ! But now I have the ability to go to higher power if I need to ! Yeah I had to pay alot more for the 650 but I need it !
This unit will serve you well ! It is currently wired for 230 Volts. but is easily changed to 460 Volts. Call me and I will tell you how if your electrician can not do it !
