Functional Eberline electronic dosimeter reader for electronic radiation dosimeters
Displays station, date and time. If dosimeter is entered it will prompt for user ID, RWP#, task#, and display associated user defined dose and dose rate set points
1) Printer control -auto print (on/off),history interval, reader configuration, historical record, dose history record
reader (entry/exit, exit only, entrance only, island, response check),
imbedded source field parameters for daily source check (source not included)
ID for keypad/aux, default, keypad only, aux only
RWP from keypad only, keypad/aux, default, aux only
Task from default, keypad, aux device or both
Dose and dose rates from keypad, aux, or default
Elapsed timer to alarm determined by the user
Edit detector field strength
View / enter calibration parameters of the dosimeter
5) Utilities- Allows for the viewing of the dosimeter parameters
6) Reset memory- resets reader memory
7) Set dosimeter ID- sets the dosimeter to a user defined ID
8) Reset program-resets dosimeter program from original eprom chip in the reader
This unit allows for networking through the serial port for the computer
Printing on entry and exit through the serial printer port
Another serial port allows for a barcode reader to quickly enter the user ID (i.e from an ID card or badge.
