Interchangeable with traditional all-metallic pin and sleeve devices built to UL 1686-C1.
Insulgrip(R) pin and sleeve plugs and connectors are built with a metallic shroud to provide ground and protect pins, but have a nonmetallic housing for corrosion-resistant durability and electrical safety. Style I plugs ground solely through their metallic shroud and metallic receptacle or connector shell. Style II devices have a dual-ground safety feature using an extra ground pin. Gray color.
