Part capacitor, part rechargeable battery.
Uses PolyAcenic Semiconductor (PAS) to store energy like a capacitor. Can be charged and discharged over and over.
A charge will last about one hour with a 1mA discharge current. Unlike conventional betteries, chrging time is only a few seconds.
Internal resistance under 20 Ohms
Used for memory backup, long time constant timers, or for powering low-power circuits in a cheap, easy to re-charge, and small form factor.
