New 12 to 24 volts ac or dc water solenoid valve brand

12 to 24 Volts Ac / Dc Water Solenoid Valve.
No model number or known manufacturer. I checked these for flow, at 0.5 Psi - 0.323 Gal/Min and at 45 Psi - 4.457 Gal/Min. So it works best with some sort of pressure, I didn't have any higher water pressure to check it at, but it closed completely at 45 Psi. Overall size about 3.1"L x 2.2"W. Brand new.
* Type: Normally Closed Water Valve (Tested on water only)
* Duty Rating: Continuous? but it does get hot!
* Voltage: 6-24VDC or 24VAC (Amperage draw will change depending on Voltage applied)
* Flow: 0.5 Psi-0.323 Gal-Min / 45 Psi - 4.457 Gal Min
* Terminals: Quick Disconnect / Solder Type
* Inlet Port: 1 OD Dia 16 Thread Plastic Fitting w/Mesh Filter ( Water Hose Type)
* Outlet Port: OD Dia 16 Thread Aluminum
* PSI: Not Known but has been tested at 45 Psi. Not rated for high pressure.
* Manufacturer: Not Known Either.
I have had many people use these valves for irrigation or watering systems. Water fill valves for many applications (Christmas tree watering system). Rodent/Varmint water shooter system. Sprayer valves for gardens, and pesticide spray pumps.
Q: Do the valves allow water flow at zero Psi (i.e. as a dump valve)? Thanks.
A: No, They cannot be used as dump valves, the orifice is too small and they need pressure to operate properly.
Q: Does the Water Solenoid Valve allow for water flow both ways, or is it only directional one-way. Thanks.
A: I tested the valve in only one direction, and based on the design of it, believe it only to be a one way valve.

Everybody seems to have a different idea of what condition is so, to avoid any problems, I try and not state condition of my items unless they are new. I do take VERY accurate pictures that do not hide defects, if any. If there is an ugly side, it will be pictured.
I took some extra photos to show the detail of the inside of the valve and give some more measurements, this was the valve I used for testing purposes. It's easy to take apart to clean and or for understanding the workings of the valve.
Some additional notes on maintenance.
* The valve can easily be taken apart to clean any debris off internal components.
* The spring and metal rod can also be cleaned and lightly lubricated using a light machine oil.
* The diaphragm seal may be lubricated with a very light coating of Vaseline to keep like new.
* If valve fails to open or close while under pressure, be sure the 2 holes in the diaphragm are clear.
* To clean the metal inlet screen, take valve apart. Remove diaphragm like in photo #13, and flush backwards with water till clear. Do not try and remove screen from valve as it may damage it.
