Hydrotrol Flow Control Valves Bell and Gossett part # 107035 3/4" NPTF
The Hydrotrol (HT) flow control valve is used to prevent overheating of zones due to gravity flow in hydronic heating systems and will permit summer-winter operation of indirect water heater.
The HT valve can be installed in either the horizontal or vertical orientation. The HT valves are designed with a 1/2 turn knob that can be manually opened when draining the system or for bypass purposes. When the system or zone pumps are not operating, the HT valve remains closed, preventing gravity circulation. The HT valve allows fluid to pass when the system or zone pumps start.
Prevents rooms (zones) from overheating due to gravity circulation.
Elastomer seal provides positive, shutoff eliminating the need for an isolation valve.
Brass body and non-ferrous internals.
Straight-Angle configuration allows for quick and easy installation.
Vertical design option saves installation time and material.
turn knob for system draining or valve bypass.
Compact, light weight design.
Maximum working pressure . . . . . . . . . . 150 psi (10 bar)
Maximum operating temperature. . . . . . . 250 F (121 C)
Bulletin On Hydrotrol Flow Control Valve
Bell & Gossett has published an informative new bulletin that identifies and explains the features and benefits of the new Hydrotrol? flow control valve.
The four-color one-page bulletin provides contractors, wholesalers, and engineers with a variety of useful information on the new flow control valve. The bulletin highlights the many features and benefits of the Hydrotol and also includes specification information such as performance characteristics curves, operating data, and dimensions and weights.
The Hydrotrol flow control valve is designed to prevent gravity circulation that leads to overheating of zones in hydronic heating systems and will allow summer-winter operation of an indirect water heater.
The Hydrotrol offers many design features to meet the demands of today's hydronic systems, including:
* Elastomer seal which provides positive shutoff eliminating the need for an isolation valve.
* Straight-angle configuration which allows for quick and easy installation Vertical design option saves installation time and material
* 1/2 turn knob for system draining or valve bypass
* brass body and non-ferrous internals.
