Epoxy resin kit with pumps laminating coating 1 1/2 gal
Epoxy resin kit, Cycloaliphatic non blush 1 1/2 gallon with pumps. This is a clear epoxy laminating or coating resin. Each kit comes with a pair of pumps for metering the epoxy. They also help keep the mess out of your shop. This is a thin, low viscosity resin that wets cloth out very well. The unique feature of this epoxy is that it will not blush even under high humidity situations. Blush , or "amine blush" as it is known, is a greasy film that rises to the surface of almost all epoxies except for the cycloaliphtic systems.
It can be used in the building and repair of a boat, airplane, canoe, kayak, or for industrial parts, and is ideal for use in composite construction with fiberglass, kevlar, or carbon fiber cloth. Another great usage of this epoxy is for coating tabletops. It also makes very tough small castings. Or mix it with small pebbles to get that "Pebble Paving" that is seen at resort swimming pools. The mix ratio is 2:1 by volume, and the work life is approximately 30 minutes. Full cure is about 24 hours. Laminates made with this system are extremely strong. Call us to request a cured sample of this epoxy (US only) at no charge.
