Portable gas detector detects all combustible gasses including natural gas, propane, butane, LPG and LNG. 3 light system and audible signal alerts you when traces of potentially hazardous gases are present. Green light means no gas sensed (<500 ppm); yellow means low concentration of gas senced (>500 ppm), and red light means high concentrated level of gas sensed (>2000 ppm). If damaged, sensor will not start up to ready green light sensing. Applications include checking for gas leaks in furnaces, boilers, LP tanks, barbecue propane tanks, RV units, gas appliances, and more. The instrument should give approximately 4 hours of continuous use on 2 "AA" alkaline batteries.
