GE Transition Series readers provide superior value when performance
matched with select GE access control platforms. Only GE offers
intelligent supervision that continuously monitors communication
between the access control panel and reader at the door. Door contact
and request-to-exit device connections are four-state supervised for
cut line, short-circuit, closed circuit and open-circuit conditions.
There's also an internal tamper-alarm mechanism. That means your
security staff is immediately notified if a reader is tampered with, a
door is breeched or circuit is cut or shorted. Tri-state LEDs and audible
alerts indicate status, alarm and perimeter-tampering conditions.
Versatile Security System Compatibility
GE multi-technology Wiegand-output models
(T-500W/T-520W/T-525W) work with most types of access control
systems that use Wiegand-based data communications up to 64-bits.
They are also compatible with access cards using multi-vendor
Proximity, Mifare (ISO 14443A) and Vicinity (ISO 15693) technologies.
