You are on an industrial grade ultra powerful lightweight Weldsmart 200amp Arc/Stick/MMA welder with built in VRD (voltage reduction device). VRD drops the OCV (open circuit voltage) to 15V when not welding to virtually eliminate accidental electrocution. This is especially important in mining and other dangerous welding environments. VRD can be switched on by the simple switch on the back of the unit. The VRD light on the front will be green when VRD is activated. This welder adopts advanced circuitry ensuring consistent performance and reliability day in and day out.
This welder uses advanced inverter technology (Toshiba Japan Inverters) which allows for an ultrapowerful welder that is lightweight (8kg). Handle on top allows you to carry the unit for those off site jobs requiring portability. The beauty of this welder is that it does not sacrifice power output for its reduced weight.
