We have tested this copier and found it to be in a condition of pretty Good Functionality. We did, however, run into a few snags, so please read the following information carefully, as this item will be sold without possibility of refund.
This Copier Powers on, but refuses to recognize its sorter. If the sorter is installed, the copier asks that it be re-installed, and never recognizes that it is present. This is likely due to a faulty sensor, though it could also be some other problem.
After removing the sorter, we were able to perform test copies of both single and double sided source sheets. We were able to produce single and double-sided prints.
All of the prints produced displayed at least some ghosting of the image, a few prints were severely ghosted.
When feeding from the lower paper tray, the copier will occasionally report a mis-feed, even though no jam occurs. This is almost certainly caused by a dirty sensor needing to be cleaned, though the sensor could be failing and need replacing.
