The Model 9320 On-Line Bar Code Reader is for use whenever a low cost, simple and compact bar code reader is required. When used in conjunction with a CRT terminal, data wanded from a bar code substitutes for data normally entered on the CRT keyboard, and the CRT screen displays the data wanded or sent from the host computer. As a stand-alone reader it can be connected directly to a host computer port or up to 16 9320 s can be connected to one port using an INTERMEC 9161A port concentrator.
