We are closing out our supply of crystal frequency modules. All are as new,
all are epoxy molded or hermetically sealed and high quality with pin leads.
Brands include Dale, CTS, and other mainstream US brands..
Offered here is a large baggie ( est "several hundred" ) of over two pounds of
electronic frequency standard crystal modules. Includes at least seven different
frequencies from 20.665 MegaHertz thru 21.667 MegaHertz.
Crystal oscillator modules are exceptionally useful as ready-to-go frequency standards or
references. You input 5vdc and a (usually) enable, and a square wave is output
that is TTL or CMOS logic compatible. All in a single module without any trimming,
buffering, worries about terminating capacitances, multiple parts, or reliability hassles.
Pinouts are often as follows: Pin 1 is either nc or a tristate enable that has to be high or floating
when an output is desired. And grounded to disable. Pin 7 is ground. Pin 8 is the TTL and CMOS
compatible output and pin 14 is the +5 volt DC supply. Other pins are often not present. Typical
current is under 20 ma. Styles may vary.
Stability is often at least 100 ppm, equal to 0.01 percent or better.
Thus quite useful but are not oven stabilized.
