The TEK SG 502 is a beautifully designed audio/sine wave oscillator that has low distortion and very stable sine wave output from 5 to 500 KHz, with a square wave output from 0 to +5V over these same frequencies. The front dial has indications from 0.5 to 5 with a center scale value of 1 and is vernier coupled to a dual precision potentiometer.
Frequency selection is by five push button multiplier switches (x10, 100, 1K, 10K, 100K). A step attentuator provides a range from 0-70 dB and a variable attentuator control allows up to a 15VRMS output into an open circuit. Output impedances for both sine and square wave are set at 600 Ohms. A pin type jack allows for external signal sync inputs.
