Intersil DG508ACJ cmos 8 channel analogue multiplexer
This 8 channel analogue multiplexer can also be used as a demultiplexer. The device will work from +/- 10.8V to +/- 16.5V or single sided from 10.8V to 16.5V. When the enable input is high the decoder selects the channel addressed by four control lines, and the corresponding bi-lateral analogue switch closes connecting that channel to the output. Off switches block analogue voltages to the supply rail. Control inputs are TTL/CMOS compatible, temperature range is 0 to 70 degrees centigrade. All switches are break before make, and the device has high latch-up immunity. Applications involve analogue signal multiplexing and data aquisition.
The device is a 16-pin DIL package, 0.3" wide.
This device is CMOS, therefore it is static sensitive.
